THE REVEAL! A whimsical girl room. When I say I’m excited to FINALLY reveal this project, I really mean I’m super duper excited! We wrapped up this project over a year ago and never got the opportunity to get profesh photos of it till recently. So, without further ado…here we go!

To our absolute delight, the clients wanted to do a wallpaper in here, so that was the first thing we tackled. They loved the idea of adding a subtle neutral pattern, that felt calm but fun, so we went with Demi Floral Stripe from McGee & Co. It looks so sweet in here. I love to design kid rooms that they won’t grow out of in two years. Adding traditional and classic patterns are the perfect way to keep things simple and timeless.

We incorporated colors with textiles such as this vintage inspired rug and silky soft comforter, which make for easy switching out if a favorite color changes in a couple years. 🙂

We added this gorgeous crystal chandelier to give the room just the right amount of girly and glam!

Kid rooms should be fun and whimsical and playful storage solutions, like this rainbow basket, are one of our favorite ways to bring just that to a space. This desk has built-in shelves where you can put more baskets or boxes for additional storage or to hide toys. Plus, can you really ever have too much storage? Nah, I don’t think so.
I had so much fun making this room for a special little girl and I hope you all enjoyed see the finished product! Also, wanted to say real quick…thank you to my clients for being so trusting, kind, and such a pleasure to work with.
