Something we are seeing more and more of in homes today is earth-tone colors. Everything from earthy browns and mossy greens to terracotta tones, and warmer alternatives for white such as taupe, beige, and cream. Essentially, anything that feels warm, welcoming and cozy is in. I’m all about inviting interiors, so count me in!

We are in the middle of a home renovation at our Teasley project that has a Mediterranean flair and are so excited to bring these warm and earthy elements to our clients home.

We’ve noticed a desire for natural surfaces, like rich marble, earthly elements like wood, terracotta and limestone being used everywhere from backsplashes to flooring, furniture, and decorative objects. The raw, porous, imperfect nature of these organic materials adds depth, soul, and visual intrigue while also evoking the calming, ambiance of the outdoors.

I love leathered stones such as granites, marbles, and quartzites! The matte and slightly bumpy texture tends to hide messes, which is both a good and bad thing! But it is great for people who don’t necessarily want to clean their countertops all of the time.

I am really into tone on tone right now and am loving all these earthy tones coming back in. Could you buy into this trend? I know we are!

Gorgeous!
Wooden furniture possesses something really organic concerning it.
There is this sense of warmth, of attributes
as well as of sophistication that could be be discovered in hardwood
home furniture. Wood is birthed from the planet. It feeds the fire, falls to pieces
in to ashes as well as drafts away. It is very near the human existence on earth.
Might be that is why it reverberates a great deal along with us.
When you touch an abundant mahogany work desk,
might be actually that is why you still obtain that warm and comfortable sensation.
