This past Winter/Summer we worked on a charming cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma and we are so excited to share the transformation of the kitchen with you all today! This cabin is located in a nature filled, scenic tourist destination, surrounded by beautiful forestry. We think this kitchen reflects the cabins’ cozy location perfectly!
It’s no secret that we love colored cabinetry and we were excited when our clients felt the same! For the cabinetry color we went with Pewter Green by Sherwin Williams to set a unique and dramatic tone. To give a little bit of contrast and texture however, we decided to go with a beautiful, zellige tile backsplash in a creamy, white color behind the stove that would flow seamlessly with the white shiplap that is on all the walls.
For some additional warmth, we chose a medium stain color for the island and kitchen ceiling. We knew from the beginning this home was primarily going to be used as vacation rental, so we went with durable leather & metal counter stools that not only added some rustic vibes, but are easy to wipe clean.
The veiny white quartz in this space truly brought everything together to create a beautiful kitchen that feels modern and fresh.
What is your favorite part of this kitchen? Would you go with a moody kitchen or do you prefer a classic white kitchen? Let us know in the comments below!
