5 Simple Summer Styling Tips

If you are like me I love transitioning my home with the seasons but I always love to add simple touches without re-doing the entire ambiance of my home. The tips I am sharing are those that are cost effective, and as with most of my designs it is livable and practical touches. I have put together 5 Simple Summer StylingTips To add that Summer Vibe through-out your home!

Add Greenery

From grocery store florals to backyard branches, bring the outside in. Using budget friendly filler such as eucalyptus or baby’s breath from the grocery store, lasts much longer than the traditional bouquet. Or step outside and cut a couple branches off your or your neighbors magnolia tree to create an arrangement that not only lasts up to a month but gives visual interest to a space.

Add summer scents

Switching out your heavier fall scented candles for a fresh and light scented one. Amber & Moss by P.F. Candle Co. is our favorite scent. Not too sweet or musky.

Swap out your textiles

Brighten up your home by swapping out your heavy knit pillows and extra thick blankets with breezy, light weight materials such as linen and cotton.

Accessorize with citrus

Fill those decorative bowls with fresh fruit to add color and summer vibes. Not only does fresh fruit bring that summer feeling it is always nice to have a healthy snack out for easy access for the family.

Style with nature

Whether it be shells from your last beach vacation or cool leaves found walking in your neighborhood these simple pieces make your home have its own style mixed with wonderful life moments.
