During our travels, I’m always been inspired by the different architecture, materials and colors used in peoples homes and buildings in the communities. We just finished a two week trip to Costa Rica to visit my parents and vacation with some friends, and I came back feeling rested and full of inspiration. Costa Rica is filled with vibrant colors, animals and the most beautiful landscape, which has me wanting to incorporate some of that into our client’s homes as well as my own home.
Bringing nature into your home with decor is timeless, chic, and soothing. Natural home decor ideas have always been stylish. One of my favorite and most simplest ways to bring the outside in is by using beautiful, shallow bowls to house the kids and I’s finds from our outdoor adventures. Makes your home feel even more special when items spark memories. Also, placing a little vase in each bathroom/powder room and filling it with something fresh and green from outside. It can even be a little evergreen branch. You are always bound to find something you can use outside.
