If you follow along on Instagram you may have seen that we moved! We are staying in north Dallas but just moved into a different home.
A few of you asked why we would ever move. And it’s a legit question! It is! I loved our old home and had just recently finished transforming my office into my dream work space. Our pool was everything I dreamt of and we lived in the most social active community with some of the best neighbors. So….yes, why in the heck did we move? I’m rethinking this now. Haha!
Ultimately, we moved to have more yard, trees and privacy. We wanted an area that gave us a little bit of acreage, but also kept us close to all the things. Momma needs good restaurants close by.
Our oldest starts middle school this year and was going to be changing schools anyway, so we thought what better time to move than now. My husband and I have always said once our kids start middle school, we want to try and keep them in the same school district till they graduate high school. This was our small opening to make a change! It was now or never!
We lost out on quite a few houses during the house hunt, which was disheartening at the time but I’m a believer that things happen for a reason. The house we ended up moving into used to belong to some of our closest friends, which at first I thought might be weird but now it just makes it feel more special. Remembering all the memories we made here when it was our friends and now we get to keep making memories together in this special home. There is a whole story of how this house came to be ours and I’ll share the very crazy story soon! Now, that we have settled in I know this is where we are supposed to be and it all worked out for the better. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives and making this special home ours!
We have some fun renovations planned for this house and we are excited to bring you all along for the journey!
I love it
Good luck in everything 🍀
